"Phyllantis are uncommon, selectively bred dragons with spiked forelegs whose purpose is to hunt for invasive insects or cull native populations of them. They come in a variety of natural colors that provide crypsis and help them camouflage as flora in areas where they are tasked to hunt (or for ones that become wild, have territory)., They stalk prey with slow, stealthy movements and are very elegant to observe. The species is also docile toward tamers due to their origin and love foods like crab that resemble bugs they enjoy perusing."

The name is a combination of Greek φύλλον (phyllon), meaning "leaf", and "mantis." The was based off of mantises. The has permanent Pitch colored eye streaks and permanent White teeth At around 7:40 PM EDT, September 30th, servers were shut down due to a few adjustments being made to the before it became obtainable. The was made a breedable species with the Soul Bound mechanic on January 16th, 2026, alongside the Aethereus, Caelydris, Calimaki, Carnealgon, Caudembris, Gyngefared, Mosuraki, and the Nightmare Paranox in Wave 8. The Fulong was initially supposed to be added to the Legacy Store during its second rotation for six Legacy Tokens. However, after receiving feedback from the players, a new poll was sent out to replace it. The won with 13.5% of the votes and hence replaced the Fulong in the shop on July 10th, 2026.
