Ancient Kraken is a Secret catch in Fisch, found around Atlantis (Kraken Pool). In-game bestiary: “A direct descendant of the original Kraken, possessing a fraction of its progenitor's power. Its true form is impossible to comprehend, and its strength is beyond measure.”
The Ancient Kraken is a Secret fish obtained by using a Poseidon's Wrath Totem while a Kraken Hunt is active, which guarantees that the Kraken will turn into an Ancient Kraken hunt, which is then simultaneously active in the Kraken Pool at a 1/567 catch rate. It can also spawn naturally when Poseidon's Wrath happens naturally when a Kraken spawns. The Ancient Kraken will disappear and turn back into a regular Kraken Hunt after 6 minutes. Even while an Ancient Kraken hunt is active, catching an Ancient Kraken is not guaranteed. This is one of the more difficult fish to obtain due to the price of the Poseidon's Wrath Totem and the chance of getting The Kraken. When reeling it in, -95% Progress Speed is applied. When hooked, a will pop above the player's head, and a shimmering sound is played - as with all Secret fish.

Kraken Hunt Announcement Message

Ability
14% chance every frame to "fling" the player's fishing bar, with the chance decreasing by 1.4% every attack until it reaches 7%. Locks the input towards the left or right side of the minigame for 1.4 second and reduces the progress by 8% over 0.8 second. Progress cannot be gained during that attack.
Notes
It is recommended to use high rods Like Poseidon Rod, Heaven's Rod, Abyssal Specter Rod, Ethereal Prism Rod and Deep Coral bait, alongside the Resilient or Mystical enchant so it's caught easily. Players are not guaranteed to catch the Ancient Kraken even if they used a Poseidon's Wrath Totem. Ancient Kraken's trading value has went down because of how easy it is to get a Ancient Kraken during admin events such as Secret Storm, Mayhem, or Mega Mayhem. To see if a Ancient Kraken was caught during admin abuse, try to look for any admin mutations such as Alien, Mace, Spectral, Mayhem etc.
