An Ancestral Pliosaur hunt has a 10% chance to replace a Pliosaur Hunt The Ancestral Pliosaur has a minigame where it bites like the, removing a bit of the control bar and a lot of progress. The Ancestral Pliosaur will despawn after 10 minutes if not caught. When an Ancestral Pliosaur is caught, a message in chat will say: “[Pliosaur Hunt]: (user who caught the Ancestral Pliosaur) has caught the Ancestral Pliosaur!”
