Pliosaur is an Exotic catch in Fisch, found around Tidefall (Collapsed Ruins). In-game bestiary: “A monstrous marine reptile from the age of dinosaurs, with a skull larger than a man and jaws built to crush.”
The Pliosaur is a fish obtainable in Collapsed Ruins. Due to its high rarity, it makes for a challenging catch, moving erratically across the fishing bar, with multiple attacks to the player. When reeling it in, -80% locked progress speed is applied. When hooked, a appears above the players head and a shimmering sound is played - as with all fishes.

The Pliosaurus, which the Pliosaur is based off of looks like a marine reptile, and is a brother of the mosasaurus.
Ability
The Pliosaur has an ability to disturb the player during the minigame similar to the: 13% chance per fish movement for the Pliosaur to go on a "rampage": Reduces 20% of the current reeling progress Shrinks the player's Control bar by 30% for 2.8 seconds. Goes on a cooldown period of 4.5 seconds after it starts. The chance decreasing by 1.3% every attack until it reaches 6.5%.
Notes
The fish can only be caught during a Pliosaur hunt, which can be spawned naturally via Disturbance, with a max risk of 10,000.
