Omnithal is an Exotic catch in Fisch, found around Sunken Reliquary. In-game bestiary: “A bioluminescent leviathan with multiple glowing eyes, said to guard the deepest, oldest wrecks.”
The Omnithal is a fish obtainable at the Sunken Reliquary during the Omnithal Hunt. Due to its high rarity, it makes for a challenging catch, moving erratically across the fishing bar. When reeling it in, -85% locked Progress Speed is applied. When hooked, a appears above the player's head and a shimmering sound is played - as with all fish.

Obtainment
The Omnithal can be caught during a Omnithal Hunt, which spawns randomly at a max risk of. The hunt will despawns after 10 minutes or any player caught the Omnithal. The message will shown respectively: ‘[Omnithal Hunt] The Omnithal dissolves into the reliquary's gloom...’ ‘[Omnithal Hunt] (The player who caught the Omnithal) has caught the Omnithal!’ On the other hand, the Omnithal can also be caught during the following Admin Events: Tidefall Resurgence (at a fixed 5% chance)
Ability
Every movement, there is a 14% chance for the Omnithal to ‘bite’, shrinking 10% of bar for 1.8 second and reduce a 30% of the current progress. The chance for the ability reduces 1.4% for each attack, until it reaches 7%
Recommendations
Due to the high rarity and high difficulty when reeling it in, It is strongly recommended to use bait that boosts high resilience. The first choice is Luminous Larva as this is also the preferred bait for the fish, the Sapphire Krill or baits with special ability such as the Snail and the Stag Beetle can be the second choice if the Luminous Larva is not available. Enchantments that increases resilience, the or having a stab ability is recommended to use such as the Herculean, Mystical and Piercing (Controlled, Resilient or Long and Chaotic if Exalted Relic is not available) In addition, it is also strongly recommended to use rods that have stab abilities like the Cerulean Fang Rod, the No-Life Rod,etc. or with rods that have great control and resilience like the Abyssal Specter Rod, the Brick Rod(not recommended due to its low lure speed), etc.
