Mossjaw is a known catch in Fisch, found around Lost Jungle (Temple). In-game bestiary: “A hulking, moss-covered predator that lurks the deep within the jungle. Its scales are heavy with age, and its jaws snap through trees as easily as bone. Few dare the temple at night, for the Mossjaw waits there, patient and merciless.”
The Mossjaw is a fish obtainable in a abundance located to the gate behind the center of the temple in Lost Jungle during a Mossjaw Hunt. Due to its high rarity, it makes for a challenging catch, moving erratically across the fishing bar. When reeling it in, -80% Locked Progress Speed is applied. When hooked, a will pop above the player's head, and a shimmering sound is played - as with all fish.

Appearance
A large crocodile-like, forest-green reptile with 4 legs, a tail, and a horn on it's head. It also has multiple rows of serrated teeth, ready to tear apart any prey that it finds.

Ability
The Mossjaw has a unique ability, where every frame has a 15% chance to activate it, decreasing by 1.5% per activation to 7.5% per frame. When activated: 3% progress is lost Control Bar stops responding for 1.8 seconds A 4 second cooldown is in place after it starts
Notes
Mossjaw hunts have a 25% chance to spawn every 10 minutes based on the server time. On average, it will take at least 40 minutes to have 1 Mossjaw spawn. The same goes for it's Elder Cousin at a 2.5% chance. Upon catching the Mossjaw, you will gain the title.

Patch history
The Mossjaw could be based on the real-life species, the Varanus komodoensis, or simply the Komodo Dragon species, as they share similar traits, such as being large reptiles, a dense cover of scales on their entire body, and both having layers of serrated teeth. There was a bug where the Mossjaw was guaranteed to be hooked during an Aurora Borealis, similarly to the. This bug has since been patched.
