Blue Whale is an Exotic fish found during the Blue Whale Migration event in the Ocean.
The Blue Whale is a highly elusive fish caught in the The Ocean during a Whale Migration abundance. The fish can be found near Ancient Isle or Sunstone Island when spawning in. Due to its high rarity, it makes for a challenging catch, moving erratically across the fishing bar. When reeling it in, -90% Progress Speed is applied. When hooked, a will pop above the player's head, and a shimmering sound is played - as with all fish.

The Blue Whale Migration Event has a 20% chance to occur during Rainy weather. It is not recommended to use the Blue Whale's preferred bait, the, as it gives little boost. Use or other high- baits instead

The Blue Whale and the are the fifth and sixth cetacean added to Fisch, after the, the, and. The Blue Whale cannot be caught with any passives, such as the one from Rod Of The Depths or Rod of The Forgotten Fang. However, activating Rod of The Forgotten Fang's passive after catching a Blue Whale will grant a second Blue Whale. The Blue Whale was officially added in the 1.20 update.
