Cryoshock Serpent is a Limited fish found in the Glacial Ridge during the Fischmas 2 event.
The Cryoshock Serpent is a Limited fish obtainable at the Cryoshock Cellar during Fischmas 2025. Due to it's high rarity, it makes for a challenging fish, moving erratically across the fishing bar. When reeling it in, a -90% is applied. This cannot be affected by Progress Speed passives except through other means. When hooked, a will pop above the players head and a bell sound is played - as with all Limited fish.

Fish it up around: Cryoshock Cellar. Season: Winter. Weather: Clear.

Notes
To be able to catch the Cryoshock Serpent the player will need Full Fischmas 2 bestiary, a Fischmas rod with an enchantment from the Festive relic and the player will need the Frost moon weather to be able to enter the Cryoshock Cellar. If you somehow glitch into the Cryoshock Cellar without a Frost Moon nor a Cryoshock Serpent active, you cannot buy the Maelstrom Rod. If you try to buy it under these conditions, a message will pop up displaying, "The serpent watches."
Strategy
The Cryoshock Serpent will slowly move towards the player while the player is trying to catch for it. If it gets close to the player then the Cryoshock Serpent kills the player. If the player gets killed by the Cryoshock Serpent, a message in the chat will appear that says, [System]: Cryoshock Serpent has caught a Common 126.08kg ( Username ). Once the player catches the Cryoshock Serpent, a short parkour will be unlocked which leads to the Maelstrom Rod. The Cryoshock Serpent is considered a Boss, and is the last fish to complete the Fischmas 2 Bestiary. The Cryoshock Serpent can be caught only once per player and can't be obtained multiple times by anything (potions, passives, etc.).
