Overview

Mariana's Veil is an extensive series of caves stretching over 12,000 studs deep beneath Roslit Bay and the First Sea. The majority of the cave system requires a Submarine to access otherwise the player risks dying instantaneously due to water pressure. Mariana's Veil consists of five primary sublocations, each located at different points throughout the caves system which serve as the means of acquiring upgrades to the player's pressure suit and submarine to allow traversal throughout deeper parts of the cave. Additionally, Scylla Hunts can only occur in Mariana's Veil, in the final location known as the Veil Of The Forsaken.

• Hawaii is a reference to Miracle Musical, a side project of Joe Hawley, a member of the band,. • Additionally, the area in general is a replica of the Hawaii: Part II's album cover, featuring the winding stairs, palm trees, and rainbow. • While in this area, a sparkling, percussive, instrumental version of Dream Sweet In Sea Major plays.
