Overview[1]
The Crystalized Rod is a Stage Fishing Rod obtained in Overgrowth Caves for 35,000 C$ after completing the Diamond Puzzle.
The Crystalized Rod is a mid-game rod that can be obtained in the Northern Expedition. Its value lies in it's passive of having a 20% chance to apply the Crystalized mutation, which increases the fish's value by 3x. However, the larger usage for the rod is to catch a Crystalized, which is one of the requirements to unlock the Rod Of The Exalted One. It is recommended to use the Hasty enchant and fish in The Depths to catch relics quicker.

Note that Immortal is an exalted enchant, and will require, which are better used on late-game rods. For faster lure times (which may help the player catch relics quicker if farming for the Crystalized Enchant Relic): Swift or preferably Hasty. For overall stat improvement, Quality. What does this mean?
Fisch's in-game currency. A fish's value is its documented average sell price in C$ — what it sells for at its average weight. A rod's value is its documented shop cost. Both are in-game facts from the community wiki, not a trading consensus. Values are not comparable across games.
