Obtainment

The Duskwire can be obtained in the Underground Music Venue, after completing the puzzle in Crystal Cove. After that, the player will need to take a quest from the NPC Hollow to collect a Catfish, which can be obtained in Mushgrove Swamp. The rod can then be bought for 1,750,001C$ C$. (if the player is Level 275 or above)

Notes

The negative forces the player to use the Invincible Secondary Enchantment. Duskwire's Control Stat has a hard limit of -0.15. Any stat increase will not boost the stat beyond that point. Any extra Control stat will be converted to Progress Speed at a 1:150 ratio.

Enchanting

The Duskwire requires the user to enchant it with Invincible, due to its negative max weight capacity. There are no other enchants that will make it usable

What does this mean?

Fisch's in-game currency. A fish's value is its documented average sell price in C$ — what it sells for at its average weight. A rod's value is its documented shop cost. Both are in-game facts from the community wiki, not a trading consensus. Values are not comparable across games.

Patch history

The Duskwire is based off a modified Dean ML guitar owned by the person Hollow represents in real life. And a real-life guitarist Dimebag Darrel. Chaotic used to have the same multiplier as Serene after the economy rebalance. Serene was later buffed from 8x to 8.5x. The music played when the "Celestial Cadence" skin is equipped is called "I Can't Stop" by Punch Deck. The music played when the "Piercer" skin is equipped is called "Wonderless" by Pierce The Veil.
