The Firework Rod is a Stage 2 Event-exclusive Fishing Rod obtained from Dr Glimmerfin's Quest during the Golden Tide event.
The Firework rod is a mid-game limited rod that was obtainable while doing Dr. Glimmerfin's quest during the Tides of Gold update. The player would have to give Dr. Glimmerfin at least 3 of 4 different Algaes (Forsaken, Mushgrove, Snowcap, and Ancient) which would spawn around the map during a Golden Tide Pools event, much like the Shark Hunt Event. This rod has a 15% chance of giving a fish the Firework Mutation (3.5x) and reduces the Eternal Frostwhale's progress loss by 20% and gives +0.2% more chance to encounter or catch it.

Obtainment
The Firework Rod is obtained by completing Dr. Glimmerfin's quest through obtaining 4 Different Algaes (Forsaken, Mushgrove, Snowcap, and Ancient) which acts like a Shark Hunt Event around the map.
Enchantments
The best enchantments for the rod are: For faster times due to the rod's poor: Swift or preferably Hasty. For luck improvement: Lucky, Divine, or best of all Immortal. Note that the Immortal enchant requires Exalted Relics, which are better used on late-game rods. For overall stat improvement, Quality.
Patch history
Firework Rod has the exact same stats as the Crystalized Rod. The Firework Rod could be obtained through completing a event quest during the Tides of Gold event in update 1.14.0. Category:Fishing Rods with passives
