The Free Spirit Rod was a rod obtainable from the Isle of New Beginnings at, costing. This rod provides two passives, making it worth the hefty cost. One of which is the piercing passive, similar to rods such as the Trident Rod among others. It's high stat gives it especially good chances of catching higher rarity fish, and is considered one of the better rods from Second Sea. It's mutation passive also makes it well for money-making as well.

It can now be found in a large cave within The Mineshaft for 200,000C$ C$ after completing 100% of the bestiary.
Appearance
This rod has a strange appearance, with what looks to be a skeletal arm with vegetation growing on it, a bracelet wrapped around its hand, and the most prominent feature being the purple gemstone embedded in it, possibly referring to it's mutation passive.
Enchantment
The recommended enchantments are: For more to go along with its slashing passive, Resilient or preferably Mystical Note that Mystical is an exalted enchant, and will require, which are better used on late-game rods. For more, Swift or preferably Hasty. (These can be paired with Seaweed to become instant-lure) To catch fish more quickly, Chaotic. For an increased limit, Unbreakable or preferably Herculean. Note that Herculean is an exalted enchant, and will require, which are better used on late-game rods.
