The Great Dreamer Rod is a Stage Fishing Rod obtained in Cursed Isle for 700,000 C$.
The Great Dreamer Rod is located at the Cursed Isle in the First Sea, coming at the price of 700,000C$ C$ (formerly found at The Cursed Shores in the Second Sea). Its stats are very good for its price, being a downgrade to Rod Of The Depths. it's main weakness is its low. It does however, have decent, being one of the quickest available for its price. it also has a passive, with the Cthulhu that appears in the passive the same as the one seen as in the Cthulhu Bossfight. Every 2 - 4 catches, Cthulhu will appear and catch a fish for you from the current pool you are fishing in, but this passive works on the third catch on average. (similar to the Rod Of The Depths and the Rod Of The Forgotten Fang passives). While at it, it also has a 50% chance to apply the Cursed Touch mutation to the fish you caught.

Appearance
It has a dark blue theme, with a murky blue handle at the bottom, laced with golden strings. The reel glows a bright teal as well as two teal wings near the top of the rod, which are accompanied by a miniature teal Cthulhu head, which shares a similar, if not identical model as the Cthulhu boss. The middle of the rod is wrapped in brown leather, the rest of the rod is Royal Blue, and near the tip it is laced with golden strings once more ending with two small, somewhat trident-like prongs glowing teal like the wings and reel.
Enchantments
The current best enchantments are: For, Abyssal or better yet, Quantum mostly due to their ability to apply mutations. Note that Quantum is an exalted enchantment, and will require Exalted Relics, which are better used on late-game rods. For overall stat improvement, Quality or better yet, Mystical, which increases significantly. Note that Mystical is an exalted enchantment, and will require Exalted Relics, which are better used on late-game rods. To make catching fish more easily and/or for perfect catches, Resilient. To hook fish quicker, Swift or better yet, Hasty, for instant catches. Swift, if paired with bait, also has the potential to instant catch. For xp, Clever.
Notes
Due to the high price, not to mention the inadequacy of the stats, it is not recommended to have this rod as the first go to. It is suggested to get or stay with the Ethereal Prism Rod, or other better and more efficient rods such as the Free Spirit Rod or Azure Of Lagoon to name a few.

The rod used to be obtained in the Second Sea, but was moved to the First sea. Back when the rod was still obtained in the Second Sea, the rod's obtainment was meant to be more difficult, requiring the player to purchase every Second Sea rod along the way, but this didn't occur for an unknown reason.
