The Great Rod of Oscar is a rod obtained from Forsaken Shores, But located behind the spike at Snowcap Island at a price of 2,500,000C$, This rod is an exceptional rod as its exceptional and gives it a near instant catch, along with its 3 passives which give it great potential for XP and credits. However, it has a high price with low and minimal, along with a requirement of being Level 250.

Obtainment
The player needs to complete the Dead Man Joes Questline. The Quest NPC is located at Forsaken Shores, who once talked to, asks the player to retrieve an Amulet from the Grand Reef, which is found on one of the islands at the Grand Reef. Once found, the player must return to Dead Man Joe with it. The player will then need to travel underwater in a Submarine, through a tunnel inspired from Mariana's Veil and reach an area near Terrapin Island. The player must first equip the Amulet. If the player doesn't equip the Amulet, the gate to the rod underground will be blocked by a translucent green wall. (Location: 499, -70, 4107)
