Overview[1]

The Verdant Shear Rod is a Stage Fishing Rod obtained in Lost Jungle for 50,000 C$.

The Verdant Shear Rod is a rod obtainable in Lost Jungle. for. For its stats alone, it's a good rod for its price, yet it also comes with a great passive. The Verdant Shear Rod is found at the coordinates -2855, 256, -2063, near the NPC John and requires 75% of the Lost Jungle bestiary. At a 20% chance after catching a fish, a tree will appear for one minute, during which all fish being reeled in will be mutated with the 3 mutations, Brown Wood, Mother Nature, or Green Leaf. All these mutations have a 3x sell value and are all obtainable at a 33.33% chance when the tree passive is activated. The Verdant Shear Rod has some competition though, having The Blazebringer Rod with similar stats but for 35,000C$ C$ less money, coming in at 40,000C$ C$. What sets this rod aside is its passive (seen above) so it is a more popular rod to buy.

Appearance

The Verdant Shear Rod, similar to the No-Life Rod, takes the design of shears and a cutlass, with a piece of cloth wrapped around in the middle of the rod to tightly hold the 2 shear blades together, while having the end be more curved akin to cutlasses. It's yellow handle is covered with runes and a vine, it looks fairly similar to the No-Life Rod. When the tree passive is activated, the tree sprouting roots and falling leaves will cover the top of the fish, alongside mutating it to the aforementioned mutations.
