Tryhard Rod

The Tryhard Rod is a Fishing Rod previously awarded exclusively to various Official Fisch Content Creators and developers but now publicly available by completing RoRed's questline.

The is an extremely difficult rod to use, but is extremely rewarding when a fish is caught. It can fish in the Brine Pool and in Roslit Volcano and in Scoria Reach without Invincible, and has great and passives but at the cost of horrible and, requiring the enchantments Controlled, Herculean, Unbreakable or Spooky on it to work properly. The has 2 passives, them being a Progress Speed buff and a mutation passive. When using the, Progress Speed is boosted by 300%, for which 165% is normal and 135% is forced. It also has a 100% chance to give the Tryhard (10x) mutation.

Notes

The Tryhard mutation was formerly the best mutation you can get from a rod in the game with a 10x multiplier before the release of the Thalassar's Ruin with the mutation Ocean's Ruin being a 10.2x. The player must be at least level 999 to obtain this rod.

Obtainment

Talk to RoRed on the Roslit Volcano, who will give you 3 quests to obtain the rod The first quest requires the player to 10 perfect catches in a row with. Completing this quest rewarded the player with 100,000 XP. The second quest requires the player to 25 perfect casts & catches in a row with the. Missing a perfect cast would reset the counter. Most players give up at this point. Completing this quest rewards the player with 100x Tryhard Worms. The third and final quest requires the player to catch a Megalodon with an Hasty Tryhard and using the Tryhard Worm bait, this bait must be used for the quest to count. Tryhard is obtained from a Cosmic Relic. This quest rewards the player with the.

Enchantments

Herculean is the most recommended enchanted for the, making the value -0.17 instead. That their bar is 13% the size of the reeling minigame. Note that Herculean is an Exalted enchant, which requires. You can also pair with the snail bait caught in Lost Jungle for a total of -0.07, although this is up to personal preference. Controlled or Unbreakable are also enchantments that make the work, with Controlled and Unbreakable making the bar 8% and 3% the size of the reeling minigame respectively. For FischFright2025 enchants: Eerie for +10% size increase on all fish caught and +10% progress speed. Spooky makes the rod usable with slashes but the incredibly small bar makes this a niche use. For enchants: Sea Prince to increase the size of fish caught. (Highly Suggested) Cryogenic has a small chance to freeze fish and catch fish easier. Basically required for "THE TRUE TRYHARD!"
