How to Get Coins Fast in Fish It!

Coins are everything in Fish It! — here's how to earn them as fast as possible.

Sell everything, every trip

Fish are only worth coins once sold to the merchant — holding them does nothing. Empty your basket after every session.

Fish where the money is

Higher-rarity catches from the farther islands sell for far more. Early on, Kohana is the best coin-per-catch spot; as your Luck climbs, move to the Ocean, Lost Isle and Ancient Jungle where Legendary+ fish are worth orders of magnitude more.

Cash in quests

Do every quest. Quest coin rewards dwarf ordinary selling — some pay hundreds of thousands of coins — and they hand out XP that unlocks new content and code redemption.

Stack luck (indirectly)

More Luck means more rare fish, which means more coins per catch. Cheap bait, Luck potions from codes, and free weather buffs (Cloudy = +luck) all pay for themselves. See the Luck guide.

Reinvest

Roll every payout straight into a better rod and better bait — the snowball only works if you keep upgrading. Don't hoard coins.
