- Attracts lightning to itself and the lightning strikes anywhere around its radius, leaving the plants shocked. Works 3 times before disappearing.
Obtainment
The player can craft this gear on the gear crafting bench, the player have must have 1 Basic Sprinkler, 1 Advanced Sprinkler, 1 Godly Sprinkler and 500,000 Sheckle. After handing in all the required items, the user must wait for 45 minutes before obtaining the Lightning Rod. Another way to obtain this Lightning rod is by paying 179 Robux. The Lightning Rod can also be obtained in the Summer Harvest Event, Mole and Pancake Mole. The Lightning Rod was also obtainable through Daily Quests.
Appearance
The Lightning Rod appears as a long metallic rod with three conductive prongs poking out near the top.
Usage
The Lightning Rod directs lightning to where the rod is placed in a medium sized circle, used to get fruits shocked. Also, it can redirect only 1 lightning in 1 thunderstorm weather. It is also used as an ingredient to make Mutation Spray Shocked but they removed it. Currently the only recipe it is used to craft is the Silver Piggy.

The Lightning Rod was added to the game in the Angry Plant Event. The Lightning Rod can be placed on other players' plots. The Lightning Rod can be removed from the player's garden using a shovel if necessary. The Lightning Rod was removed just a few hours before the Summer Harvest Event but re-added next to the cosmetics shop at the Crafting NPC. The Lightning Rod used to be purchasable at Eloise's shop for 1,000,000 Sheckle. Lightning Rods are ineffective during the Jandel Storm. In other words, lightning will not strike the rod during this weather. The Lightning Rod uses the same crafting materials with the Tanning Mirror. The Lightning Rod is the first gear to be removed from the gear shop, with the 2nd being Tanning Mirror. The Lightning Rods rarity got changed from Mythical to Legendary. This is because of the shovel prompt displaying the Legendary tier instead of the Mythical tier.
