Patch history
The Kitsune is the first Prismatic pet that was added to the game. The Kitsune has the second lowest chance in the game, being a 1/1250 or 0.08% chance. First being the Krampus with a 0.05% chance. It had a 0.1% 1/1000 chance prior to the release of the Zen Event. The Kitsune has a very similar ability to the Raccoon, except it gives mutations and doesn't actually steal the crop. The Kitsune and its counterpart, the Corrupted Kitsune, share the same pet model. The Kitsune has a clipping issue in its model where the ends of their tails clip through the body of the tail. It is still reoccurring as of the Garden Games Event. When combining the mutations of the Kitsune & Corrupted Kitsune, it can produce new mutations. Combining Chakra and Corrupted Chakra gives the fruit the Harmonized Chakra mutation. Combining Foxfire Chakra with Corrupted Foxfire Chakra gives the fruit the Harmonized Foxfire Chakra mutation. If a plant has both the Harmonized Chakra and the Harmonized Foxfire Chakra mutations, the plant is given the Ascended Chakra mutation. Previously, the pet only duplicated the crop. But after the Valentine's Event, in the Discord, Adrian said that the pet will actually steal the crop instead of duplicating them. As of Easter Event 2026 Part 4, the changes have been reverted, now duplicating instead of stealing.
