Black Death is a playable character in Jujutsu Shenanigans — Parthenogenesis.
Black Death is the 22nd character and 6th base-only that was added to Jujutsu Shenanigans. Black Death is based off of Kurourushi, a character from Jujutsu Kaisen. To read about their backstory, expand the collapsible below. (SPOILERS FOR JUJUTSU KAISEN ANIME) Kurourushi is a minor antagonist and a special grade cursed spirit released by Kenjaku in order to participate in the Culling Games. Rising from humanity's hate and fear towards cockroaches, Kurourushi is able to control swarms of roaches reinforced by cursed energy, all while wielding the Festering Life Sword, a cursed tool which is said to mix life and death. Note that the kanji for "Kurourushi" can be read as "Black Death", thus the name.

Tips & Misc
After Fierce Strikes uppercut, the target's body will line up well enough for you to jump and sneak in an M1. The same thing can be done after Aerial Roach Swarm without the need to jump. Chokehold's properties make it a pretty decent mixup tool as it can be done anytime during moves, which also allows for some unevadable combo paths and makes it difficult for enemies to win M1 trades. An example of this is Festering Strikes into Chokehold, as you can catch the opponent as soon as they get knocked back. Reattach also allows for the same thing if its timer gets to 0, but this can only be done by waiting the timer out since inputting Reattach manually will stop the user from stacking moves. Despite that, this remains a noteworthy tip as it can lead into an unavoidable Roach Swarm or Bugnado. Using the special while holding a soda can (empty or full) will cause the player to eat the can and immediately regain 15 HP. This will grant the achievement: "I LOVE THE TASTE OF IRON!!!!"

Parthenogenesis's clones will wear the user's selected Awakening Outfit, and like dummies, they will automatically pair up with any partner emotes. It's possible to bypass the limit of 8 offspring in Private Servers by using Parthenogenesis repeatedly with the No Stun and no cooldown options on. is the second character to have a domain invasion ability, right after; and the fourth character to have an Awakening variant, right after, and. has the most Awakening variants of any character, at three. Earthen Insects are actually considered entities, and thus can be targeted by abilities such as Boogie Woogie. Chokehold's arm animation does play on other characters, but only on 4-handed ones (such as ).
