Head of the Hei

CharactersJujutsu Shenanigans

Overview[1]

Head of the Hei is a playable character in Jujutsu Shenanigans — 90, 75 in Awakening.

Head of the Hei is the 9th Early Access and 16th character that was added to Jujutsu Shenanigans. Head of the Hei is based off of Naoya Zenin, a character from Jujutsu Kaisen., To read about their backstory, expand the collapsible below. (SPOILERS FOR JUJUTSU KAISEN) Naoya Zenin was a special grade 1 sorcerer and the youngest son of the previous head of the Zen'in clan, Naobito Zen'in, inheriting his "Projection Sorcery" technique. While he failed at becoming the next head of the Zen'in clan, Naoya had already managed to become the leader of the clan's elite unit, the Hei, hence the title: "Head of the Hei".

Tips & Misc

The high mobility in this moveset can be either advantageous or not, depending on how the moves are deployed: When using Projection Breaker, you can turn around during the first dash to go forwards, then turn back during the latter part of the move to cover more distance. Unshiftlocking then shiftlocking back also works. When using Decisive Strike, you could turn around to appear anywhere around the opponent and bypass their block, or simply extend the rush. Be careful as the enemy can still dash away at the last second, use a counter (or a melee armor attack such as Projection Breaker), or interrupt with an attack, especially one with tracking such as Divine Dog: Totality, Garuda Rebound or Rika Downslam. Cursory Impact's variant can be used to confirm any move if the enemy has no ragdoll cancel, including the 4th M1. It can also be used to switch Decisive Strike to its lock on variant by throwing the enemy in the air. Projection Sorcery, Decisive Strike, and Cursory Impact have similar windups due to sharing the projection visual effect, so using the special in neutral, after an M1 set, or before using one of those attacks may be effective in baiting counters or evasives early. You can override having no uppercut or downslam by using an item such as Playful Cloud or Naginata to gain more versatility and better confirms for certain moves (such as Decisive Strike). However, you will lose the ability to apply Frame Freeze unless you're able to land Decisive Strike right after a Projection Breaker.

Trivia

is the first character to have both 90 HP and 75 HP. Vengeance's cursed spirit form will always have red tendrils and a white Drakobloxxer face, while the "shell" will have the color of the user's torso when in their Awakening Outfit. The user will also stay in their Awakening Outfit for 25s after using Time Cell Moon Palace, and shortly during Vengeance's cutscene. The awakening outfit/the half of the "shell" can be obtained even if the domain is cancelled. Time Cell Moon Palace's eye follows the player around, and its iris gets bigger the closer they are to it. Once cast, the domain plays Jujutsu Kaisen's Looming Threat. Specifically, it seems to be this exact loop of the song. The Projection afterimages have the RGB code: 150, 150, 255. Flash Freezing's frames act as separate entities, meaning any target attacks (such as Boogie Woogie) and finishers (such as Unlimited Purple) can be triggered using them. This is also because every frame has 1e-08 HP (0.00000001), as they explode instantly from any attack. Additionally, setting a server's damage multiplier to 0 will allow you to apply Frame Freeze on the Flash Freezing frames. There's a very low chance that after breaking a framed target, another frame (like the ones used in Flash Freezing) will remain. 's 2026 April Fools name (bubble pop electric) is based off the song Bubble Pop Electric by Gwen Stefani, being a lyric found commonly in the chorus of the song. The name was chosen due to the edits surfacing around platforms, using the song in tandem with clips of the fight between Maki Zen'in and Naoya Zen'in.
