The horseman is holding what seems to be a Jack-o-Lantern with a wicked smile; it looks eerily similar to the Pumpkin trait. Headless Horseman comes from a Halloween story hundreds of years ago, titled "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by Washington Irving.

Even with the best in the game (when it was obtainable and still a ), you would've still only had a 9% max chance to get Headless Horseman. Due to this, Headless Horseman is the first Rarity=OG to not have its own event/trait or spawn animation. Headless Horseman was buffed 6 times; in the Gingerbread Town update (December 20, 2025) from $175M/s to $200M/s, in The Return (January 24, 2026) update from $200M/s to $325M/s, in Trade Machine update (February 21, 2025) from $325M/s to $375M/s, in the Divine Admin Machine update (February 28, 2026) to $500M/s, in the Divine Fuse machine update (March 7, 2026) to $550M/s, in the Anniversary Update (May 23, 2026) to $600M/s. Sammy leaked that only 75 Headless Horsemen exist, making it the 2nd rarest brainrot in the game, below the Spyder Elephant ($1B/s).
