Martial Artist
is a character in The Strongest Battlegrounds. 's moveset is mainly used for close-ranged combat. This character has one of the fastest M1's in the game. is based off Suiryu From One Punch Man.
Pros and Cons
Three of the four moves are hard to punish. Vanishing Kick and its double-press bypasses block. Vanishing Kick's double-press has auto-target. If you do 3m1 + Vanishing Kick, the opponent have shorter ragdoll time and will knock away, you can perfectly dash to your opponent or use Vanishing Kick 2nd kick. Whirlwind Drop can punish front dashes alongside plenty of moves, even some Ultimates. All the moves can hit ragdolled players. Has decent AOE in all of its moves. If you land 's finisher, the cutscene will last almost its entire cooldown, allowing you to hit it again after a couple of seconds. Head First grants Armor when hit. Head First gives a bit of air time, which is useful against teamers. Whirlwind Drop finisher's slams can deal up to 22.5% damage (5% + 7.5% + 10%); which makes it useful in dealing with teamers if you are able to catch them in it. If Vanishing Kick is used then you use a wall combo, you can move-stack by using Vanishing Kick again during the wall combo, to add up on damage. Two of the moves are grab type, which are ideal for combos. The wall combo has almost no end lag after use so your opponent can't punish the wall combo. Head First finisher sends the user into the air super high which makes it useful for getting onto the top of the mountain if you’re getting teamed on. Has access to 2 ultimate attacks that bypass and on direct hit. Currently has some of the most Techniques in this game. 3/4 of it's moves have high endlag. Half of 's ultimate moves can be countered by Prey's Peril and Split Second Counter.

Patch history
base moveset only consists of kicks is a reference to Suiryu going easy on opponents by only using his kicks while fighting. The move Head First is said to be based off of Rock Lee's "Primary Lotus" from Naruto. The second part of Vanishing Kick can cancel your own moves, making it useful to confuse your opponent. The second part of Vanishing Kick can be used from any range, as long as you use it before it deactivates. If the player enables the PS+'s No Cooldown and No Stun toggles, and spams Vanishing Kick rapidly, a glitch can occur where the character will turn entirely invisible. The moveset had 3 moves on release of the character, which was the highest moveset count for a prereleased character. It was previously awarded to with only 2 moves. It is currently awarded to with all 4 base moves. Bullet Barrage is a reused older version of 's Atmos Cleave, but slightly modified to not look like swinging a katana. Using Whirlwind Drop right after Bullet Barrage or from a specific height does not make the player rise upwards; rather, they simply slam down into the ground with no attack time differences. After landing Bullet Barrage, it launches the target the perfect distance away to hit Vanishing Kick. This character has a small reference of Vergil using Beowulf at his Devil Arm (Bullet Barrage are a combination of Rapid Kick, Rising Star and Lunar Phase downslam, Whirlwind Drop kick starts up similar to "flush", Vanishing Kick first start up is similar to Air Kick). This is the third character to have a kick based move, the second is and the first is.
