Design & Path

Voidlands took place in an eerily dark environment with several "fallen" industrial towers. Everything appeared to be futuristic due to the neon purple theme of the map. There were three main islands on this map, with the main middle island being significantly higher than the other two. Several neon purple trees and small plants could be seen planted around the islands. The cobblestone path started and ended at two portals on two separate islands. The path took an inclined bridge towards the second island. On the second island, the path meandered around, before it went down another incline bridge to reach the third and final island.

Strategy

Due to the limited space on the first island, it is not recommended to place ground towers here. Due to large amount of corners on the second island, this is where all your towers should be, including cliff towers. However, this spot is a significant distance away from the start of the path. Be ready for the enemies that may be summoned from other enemies, like the Soul Stealer and Fallen Reaper.

Update History

28 August 2020 - Hardcore Testing BETA Voidlands added. 29 October 2020 - Overhaul v1.0.0 Voidlands removed.

Patch history

Like Village of Despair, this map had major inclines that the path goes on. This map was not added in the Overhaul Update for unknown reasons, alongside most other Hardcore-exclusive maps during Hardcore Testing BETA. There was a bug where, when the Void Reaver traveled on the bridge separating the two islands, it would start to fall backward and ragdoll as if it were being tied to the bridge by a rope, moving upside down along the path. However, its normal animations still played, and it still functioned as intended in the game.
