Overview[1]

introduced: 29th June 2024; wave 20 speedup

Cake Factory is a small map which takes place in the Shaping Station from the Roblox game Make a Cake. The path is S-shaped, consisting of two curves that lead from a furnace (enemy point) to the Giant Noob (defense point) from Make a Cake. Many other stations from the game, such as the Batter Pickup Station, can be found throughout the map. Multiple stations are also near the track that affect enemies and units in various ways (See Scanner Effects and map for more info).

Tips

Byte and/or El Goblino are crucial for Medium and Hard, as the enemies past Wave 31 are extremely fast. Oddport is a great option for the early and mid-game, as it can deal with most enemies. Summoners are a huge benefit for early waves, especially on Hard Mode and for Gertrude. Maitake and Dumpster Child are not recommended up to wave 15, as Gertrude is immune to all effects. However, they are still useful for a majority of enemies due to defense piercing. Placing many Hotdog Franks inside the first curve can be effective for the late-game, due to Hotdog Frank’s high range for a melee tower, especially when used with Balloon Pal. Kart Kid can defeat Gertrude on Hard Mode with assistance. Just be wary of defense, as enemies can survive if they have it. Soda Pop and Branch are great towers due to their Splash damage, and relatively small hitboxes. The crusher machine can be relied on for the first few waves on Easy and Medium mode, as it usually crushes enemies affected by Junior Jr's rolling pin. However, it quickly becomes unreliable once you get to Blorps and/or Baby Cakes.

Trivia

This map (alongside The Library and The Outdoors) are the only maps to be labelled as Level 0+. Similarly, this map is the second to only award skins, the first being The Library. This map is one of the few maps that have a special effect when the base is hit by an enemy. (Alongside Facility Raid and Facility Frenzy) On the Frosting + Topping machine, if a enemy or summon goes through it, there's a chance the machine says "+ Dinnerbone" and turns the enemy or summon upside down. This is a reference to one of the Minecraft developers, Dinnerbone. When naming a mob Dinnerbone in Minecraft, it will turn them upside down. The Frosting + Topping machine shows exactly what interacted with it, what frosting/topping it got, and what the effect does. This is almost identical to how it shows when eating a cake in Make A Cake. The three workers each have a unique name, referencing Mario characters. Mario, Weegee, and Wally, respectively. If a unit goes into a Scanner and summons an enemy, the enemy will be a unit itself. This includes Bomb Batters. As of May 2026, the blue scanner is the only way to get the coffee effect on an enemy. In the map, the tubes with cake flowing in it can occasionally have other characters in the tubes. The characters that can be seen flowing in the tubes are: Wizard Kart Kid Toaster Byte Thebenster Blorp Lil Chip Category:Special Maps Category:Maps
