The Christmas Elves are special, peaceful, Christmas-Exclusive Entities, added during the Christmas Update in 99 Nights in the Forest. The main focus is to rescue them with special tools, in return for powerful items through Presents.
The Christmas Elves were added in the First Part of the Christmas Update. You have to save the elves by purchasing specific items with Mossy Coins from Santa's Sack (present near the Campfire), being Ladders, Ice Skates and a Snow Shovel. After rescuing an Elf, they will reward you with a Yellow Present, (which can only be spawned by rescuing elves or completing a quest in the Ice Skating Rink) which contain powerful items, weapons or materials.
How to get it
Scavenge it from the forest, loot cultist camps, or craft it at camp.

All Elf Variants
The Tree Elf is an elf stuck on a tree. To rescue this elf, you need to purchase a ladder from Santa's Sack (present near the campfire) for 15 Mossy Coins. After that, you'll need to place the ladder on the tree, climb up, and interact with the Elf to let him down. The Skating Elf is an elf that can be found in the center of an Ice Skating Rink. They will give you a quest where you have to finish 3 laps with the Ice Skates without stopping, if you go into the snow, your laps will reset (this also works for standing on obstacles). After you finish your 3 laps, return to them and then they'll reward you with a present. The Frozen Lake Elf is an elf that can be found in the middle of a giant frozen-over lake laying down. To rescue this Elf, you have to purchase the Ice Skates for 20 Mossy Coins and go to them and hold "Rescue Elf". After they walk out of the ice rink, they will give you your present. Doing this without Ice Skates will cause text to say "The ice is too slippery for the elf to walk". The Buried Elf is an elf that is buried in the snow. To rescue this Elf, you will first need to purchase the Snow Shovel from Santa's Sack for 20 Mossy Coins. Then, you will need to go to the elf and dig up the parts of snow covering them. After you have dug them up, they will reward you with a Present.
Elf Shop
The Elf Shop is in the lobby run by 2 elves. You can purchase an item using Candy Canes from saving elves. Category:Events Category:NPC Category:Items
