Boars; Jungle Cultists; Fish; The Cat; Jungle Mamoths; level: Campfire Level 2+ The Jungle Biome was added in the 1st March 2026 update, and it is the 5th biome added to 99 Nights in the Forest. =Overview= ---- The Jungle Biome is a major biome, alongside the Snow Biome and the Volcano Biome. It is a difficult biome to navigate because 1/ the ground level changes more often and more quickly - which can create cliffs higher than the player can jump - and 2/ it has many, many more plants and boulders that block movement and visibility.

Jungle Temple
There are four Jungle Temples located roughly north south east and west of the Mother Temple. They are Aztec in style, and have a roof-top room and a basement room. The rooftop room is defended by two Jungle Cultists and contains a regular chest (which can vary in quality). The basement has a simple obby with Blowdart Traps, beyond which you will find a few resources, a Vine Chest, and 1x Skull Trial Stone (which are used at the Mother Temple). At the back of the basement is a rope so you can get out without going through the traps again. The basement resources, chest, and Skull respawn daily. A Vine Chest may contain Blowpipe Cultist Gem Good sack Poison Spear Strong flashlight Crossbow Medkit
Mother Temple
The Mother Temple is located at the center of the Jungle Biome and needs 4x Skull Trial Stones to open the basement. In the basement you will find 3x Cultist Gems, 2x Gem of the Forest fragments, and one Jungle Chest. The Jungle Chest may contain: Poison Armor Poison Claws The basement Gems respawn, but the Jungle Chest can only be opened once per player.
Fighting Pit
The Fighting Pit is a large circular pit in the ground lined with stone. In the center you will find a button which, when pressed, will start spawning waves of Jungle Cultists and Boars. Each wave increases the number of enemies, with 5 waves in total. Once all 5 waves are beaten, a Poison Log Wall upgrade blueprint will drop.
Minor Structures
Tar It looks black in color and emits a bubble effect. It slows movement speed and, if you stay in too long, you will come to an (almost) complete halt. You can increase your speed again by jumping. Stone Platforms Simple stone platforms that do not appear to have a purpose as of yet, besides adding some visual variety to the Jungle Biome. =Inhabitants= ----
Entity: The Cat
Main article: The Cat The Cat will roam the Jungle and Forest areas during the night, hunting for players, in any game where the Jungle Biome is present. It behaves similar to the Deer, Ram, etc but its unique feature is its Pounce Attack which allows it to quickly move through terrain and attack players.
Jungle Cultist
Main article: Jungle Cultist Jungle Cultists are armed with either a Poison Spear or a Blowpipe, and are equipped with poison armour which will deal damage to any players that attack them in melee.
Boars
They behave similar to wolves, but have more HP and do more damage.
Frogs
Main article: Frogs The existing normal frogs and Poison Frogs (identified by the colour of their tongue), previously appearing only during a Frog Invasion event, are scattered through the Jungle Biome.
Mossy Mammoths
main article: Mossy Mammoths they are natural entities and spawns in the jungle, they seem to spawn in a structure, each one spawning two of them. =Tips & Tricks= ---- Once you've completed the basement obby, stand by the rope before collecting the Skull Trial Stone. This will let you avoid one set of the Blowdart traps. Use ranged weapons vs Cultists that have Poison Armour. The temple stairs are so steep that it is faster to go up the ramp beside them.
