How to Get Free Pets & Bucks Fast in Adopt Me

You don't need Robux to build a pet collection in Adopt Me — everything runs on Bucks, the free in-game currency. Here's how to earn fast and get pets for free.

How Bucks work

Bucks are earned mainly by fulfilling your pet's or baby's needs. Each need pays out when you satisfy it:

• Sleepy — 10
• Hungry / Thirsty — 12
• Sick — 16
• Dirty — 15
• Bored / School / Salon — 20

You can also earn Bucks from jobs around the map. There's a daily cap of 300 Bucks (raised to 500 with a Pet Handler Pro Certificate), and x2 weekends double both your earnings and the cap.

How to get pets for free

• Eggs — the main source. Buy an egg with Bucks (Cracked Egg is just 350) and hatch it by completing tasks. No Robux required — the "Hatch Now!" gamepass only skips the wait.
• Star Rewards — log in daily for a growing streak of free items and occasional pets.
• Events — seasonal events regularly hand out free limited pets for completing challenges.
• Trading up — start with a common pet and trade toward better ones over time (see our trading guide to avoid scams).

Fastest free start: raise a baby or a starter pet, spend the Bucks on a Cracked Egg, and repeat — reinvesting every payout into the next egg.
