Adopt Me Pet Ages & Tasks — How to Age Up Fast

Every pet in Adopt Me grows through six age stages, and each one unlocks a new trick. Here's the full order and the fastest ways to age up.

The six age stages

You age a pet by completing tasks — fulfilling its needs (hungry, sleepy, dirty, etc.). Each stage unlocks a trick:

1. Newborn → Sit
2. Junior → Lay Down
3. Pre-Teen → Bounce
4. Teen → Roll Over
5. Post-Teen → Backflip
6. Full Grown → Dance

Higher-rarity pets need more tasks per stage, so a Legendary takes much longer to raise than a Common.

How to age up fast

• Age-Up Potion — instantly completes 30 tasks. The single fastest method.
• x2 weekends — Adopt Me regularly runs weekends where pets age twice as fast and Bucks earnings double.
• Batch your care — feed, bathe and play with several pets at once so each need you fill counts toward every hungry/dirty pet nearby.

After Full Grown: Friendship Levels

Once a pet is Full Grown it keeps earning Friendship Levels (one level per 30 tasks of XP). Each level rewards one Age-Up Potion — so a Full Grown pet slowly pays for the next pet's glow-up. Note: Friendship progress resets to 0 when the pet is traded.
