Royal Jelly
Royal Jelly is an inventory item that can be found as a token around the map, received as certain quest rewards, redeemed in valid codes, purchased from various shops or dispensers, or various other different ways. When used on a bee, it turns it into either a Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, a gifted variant of any of those bees, or a mutated variant of those bees. The probabilities of Royal Jelly transformations are following: Royal Jelly does NOT necessarily turn a bee into a better rarity. For example, if a player used it on a Legendary bee, they have the same 70% chance of getting a Rare bee as if they had used it on a Basic Bee. This rule also applies to gifted and mutated bees.
Ways to Obtain
Completing Brown Bear's quests rewards one or more Royal Jelly and other items. Other quest givers give Royal Jelly less frequently. Completing Black Bear's Diamond Egg, Star Jelly, and Mythic Egg quests rewards one or more royal jellies. Completing Spirit Bear's quests often rewards multiple Royal Jellies. The amount generally increases with each further quest taken. The Royal Jelly Dispenser near the Slingshot, Clover Field, and Dandelion Field dispenses them for 6 tickets each while also giving 10x Haste. Royal Jelly can be purchased individually or in packs of 10 from the Robux Shop. It costs 45R$ for one Royal Jelly, and 300R$ for 10 royal jellies. Royal Jelly can be found in different hidden and hard-to-reach locations. These jellies can be obtained only once for every player (In other words, they don't respawn). Royal Jelly can be claimed using the dispenser in the Star Hall every 22 hours. The number of Royal Jelly the player obtain depends on the number of Gifted bees in their hive. Finishing the Ant Challenge gives at least 2 Royal Jelly with the quantity increasing as the score increases by 50 points. From the sparkles made by the faces that can appear on certain objects or by fireflies. Finishing the Stick Bug Challenge or drops from Stick Nymphs during the challenge. Royal Jelly can also naturally spawn in fields, but the probability is extremely low. Growing a sprout may drop Royal Jelly tokens depending on the type of sprout.
Star Jelly
Star Jelly turns a bee into a random gifted bee, with the same rarity chances as normal Royal Jellies. Certain quests are guaranteed to give Star Jellies, while others are randomized. There is a chance to get a Star Jelly for doing Black Bear's repeatable quests. Obtained by finishing all of the quests in Black Bear's Star Jelly questline, by completing Bubble Trouble and Pollen Fetcher 6 on the questline. Obtained by finishing Science Bear's Beesperanto and Epistemological Endeavor quests in the questline and Corrupting The in the Drives questline. Obtained by finishing the 90th and 195th quest from Brown Bear. Obtained by finishing the 5th, 15th, and 21st - 30th quests from Spirit Bear. Obtained by starting the 7th Spirit Bear quest. Obtained by finishing the 25th quest from Gifted Bucko Bee or Gifted Riley Bee. Obtained by finishing the 5th quest and 10th quest from Dapper Bear. Obtained by finishing the 2nd quest in the Drive questline. Every 10 quests completed from Honey Bee (NPC) rewards a Star Jelly. Can be crafted using the Blender (100 Royal Jelly and 3 Glitter). Obtained from certain Robux packs. A guaranteed drop from Stump Snail, Coconut Crab and when capturing Commando Chick for the 15th time. A chance of being a drop from a Spider, Werewolf, Mondo Chick, Tunnel Bear, Stick Bug, Wild Windy Bee and King Beetle. If a player's score is 10M+ in the Stick Bug Challenge, they are guaranteed at least 1 Star Jelly. The higher their score, the more Star Jelly they can get, and also Star Jelly drops from stick bug when he is defeated.
Specific Bee Jelly Variants
Instead of transforming into a random bee of a particular rarity, specific bee jellies will always hatch into the jellies respective bee. All of these jellies share the same appearance of a royal jelly. These are primarily obtained from limited-time codes, Bee Bear's Catalog during Beesmas, and Bubble Bee Man. Basic Bee Jelly was obtained from the code DontUseThisJelly [Expired]; it turns any bee into a Basic Bee. Bumble Bee Jelly is obtained from completing B.B.M Mission quest from Bubble Bee Man in the 30 Bee Area and from the codes "BeeDay2019" [Expired] and "Cubly" [Expired]; it turns any bee into a Bumble Bee. Hasty Bee Jelly is obtained from receiving Bee Bear's Beesmas Blitz quest and from the code HasteHelper [Expired]; it turns any bee into a Hasty Bee. Looker Bee Jelly was obtained from the code ThoseEyes [Expired]; it turns any bee into a Looker Bee. Rad Bee Jelly was obtained from the code Nonchalant and Strawbeary [Both expired]; it turns any bee into a Rad Bee. Rascal Bee Jelly was obtained from the code MischiefMaker [Expired] and Boo Swarm [Expired]; it turns any bee into a Rascal Bee. Stubborn Bee Jelly is obtained from the expired code BANNED; it turns any bee into a Stubborn Bee. Strategy
Event bee jellies have infinite uses; as long as the hive does not already have that bee, the player can use the jelly. Royal Jelly is based off the real-life counterpart. The eponymous substance is used as nutrition for honey bee larvae and queens. Sun Bear gave a hint about the Royal Jelly on top of the Ticket Tent in his dialogue. When the player is transforming any bee with any type of royal jelly, the number of exclamation marks after the bee's name is the same as that bee's tier. Common/Rare = 1 exclamation mark (!), Epic = 2 exclamation marks (!!), Legendary/Event = 3 exclamation marks (!!!) and Mythic = 4 exclamation marks (!!!!). Using a specific jelly on said bee (e.g. using a Bubble Bee Jelly on a Bubble Bee) does not use the jelly, and no transformation pop-up appears. Event Bee jellies cannot make the bee gifted even if it was gifted before. The plural for royal jelly is incorrectly spelled as 'Royal Jellys', rather than 'Royal Jellies'. This is a mistake that has happened with other items with a plural form that exchanges a 'y' for 'ies'. Using a normal jelly on a gifted/mutated bee is almost CERTAIN to cause the bee to lose its gifted/mutated status. It is a 1/250 chance to get a gifted bee back and 1/5000 chance to get a mutated bee back. However, the bee will most likely have a different mutation. If you attempt to use a royal jelly on a bee in between Robo Bear Challenge rounds, it will prompt you with the message: "⚠ Hatching or transforming a bee will end your Robo Bear Challenge. Continue?⚠".
