Wind Shrine

MachinesBee Swarm Simulator

Overview[1]

The Wind Shrine is located beyond the Windy Bee Gate, next to the Pepper Patch. It allows players to donate items to it in exchange for rewards such as Field Winds and honey. The Wind Shrine has a cooldown of 1 hour between each donation. Donating cloud vials after donating a Spirit Petal is currently the only way to obtain a Windy Bee. The Wind Shrine also indicates if a Wild Windy Bee is active in one of the fields. If the chimes are continuously moving around and nobody has donated recently, a Wild Windy Bee will be somewhere around the map. The following audio plays when a player has donated something to the Wind Shrine

Usage

Upon interacting with the shrine, it says "Would you like to make an offering to the Wind Shrine?" If the player clicks on the dialogue, a window pop-up will appear, in which it allows the player to donate any amount of almost any item in their inventory to the shrine. Upon doing so, a message follows, with the chimes moving around swiftly. If the player cancels the donation, it instead says "You canceled the donation." If the player interacts with the Shrine during cooldown, it says "You may only donate to the Shrine once per hour. Come back in x: y." (x = minutes, y = seconds) If the player wants to donate multiple items at once, they can hold down the "+" button. The rate at which the amount of that certain item increases the longer the "+" button is held down. Favor is a mechanic that affects the player's rewards from the Wind Shrine. Favor is increased by donating items. A Spirit Petal is NOT required to be donated to start increasing favor. All donations grant favor (5,000 + the favor value of all of the items donated). Below is a list of all items that can be donated to the shrine and their favor values. The player's chance to obtain the Windy Bee Egg increases depending on how much favor the player has with the shrine. Having higher favor will also improve the quality and quantity of winds. Favor can be roughly estimated by the messages received when the player is rewarded winds or is donating cloud vials for a Windy Bee. Each donation grants honey depending on the type and amount of the item donated.

Field Winds

When you donate certain items to the shrine, you have a chance to summon Field Winds. The winds are random and not guaranteed. The more of the item you donate and the higher your favor, the better chance you have at getting a high stack of winds. Generally, the color of item you donate correlates with the color of field you get. Purple potion has bias to get a large stack in red or blue fields. Generally, it is recommended to donate a purple potion for boosting. Eggs often give a large stack in most of the fields. The rarer the egg, the better and more winds. Swirled wax tends to give 7-8x white field winds. Gifted Gold Egg often gives 7-9x winds. Gifted Diamond Egg often gives 10-11x winds.

Donations

The shrine will grant different rewards depending on the item donated. All donations will grant Honey and favor (both of which increase based on the amount donated), but other effects may vary. A list of possible outcomes is written below. Summoning clouds on fields and granting field winds. Summoning a Wild Windy Bee. Summoning Bean Bugs and granting a Jelly Bean. Granting badge rewards. Enabling the player to receive a Windy Bee and granting other rewards. This refers to when you donate the Spirit Petal, which can only be done once, which grants 500 Treats, 1 Star Jelly, 5 Enzymes, 5 Oils, 5 Red Extracts, 5 Blue Extracts, 5 Tropical Drinks and 5 Magic Beans. Failing to obtain a Windy Bee and granting Treats. Succeeding to obtain a Windy Bee. Granting Galentine's Blessing, and other rewards during Beesmas. Granting 7 Jelly Beans (Ready Player Two Event, although still possible as of 2025-11-28). Certain items are more likely to have certain effects. For example, donating eggs other than Basic Eggs and Honey Bee Eggs will always grant field winds and donating Star Jellies, Magic Beans or Field Dice is likely to summon a Wild Windy Bee. Some items also have biases when granting field winds, such as Purple Potions being more likely to grant field winds for colored fields. Donating a diamond egg (or blue extracts) has a higher chance of granting winds for blue fields. Keep in mind that the rewards are somewhat random, as offering the same donation twice in the same amount may have a different result. However, more items in the donation can grant better rewards.

Responses

After donating an item, the Wind Shrine will display different messages, depending on the item donated and the player's favor. When receiving field winds, the fourth message the shrine displays is based on the player's total favor. Below is a list of messages indicating the player's total favor, along with the amount of favor it takes to get those response. The fifth message displayed when getting winds depends on the favor impact of the donation (there will not be a fifth message if the player is at the highest tier of total favor). Below is a list of these messages, along with how much favor needs to be added to receive these responses. The player's total favor can also be estimated from the third message the shrine displays when the player donates cloud vials in an attempt to receive a Windy Bee. Below is a list of these messages, along with the amount of favor it takes to get them.

Galentine Shrine

The Galentine Shrine can be obtained after the player completes Spirit Bear's Beesmas 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025 quests. It is the Wind Shrine decorated specifically for Galentine’s Day. There are five hearts, a large red bow on the top, and a smaller white bow between two hearts. The Wind Shrine's two 'pillars' are also coated in pink paint. If the player donates, there is a chance for the player to receive several rewards and the Galentine's Blessing buff which lasts for 2 days. The odds for a successful donation starts at 1% at, and scales linearly with the number of donated in that single donation, up to 50,000 where it is guaranteed. The player can only receive the rewards once. The following equation determines the probability of receiving the Galentine's Blessing, where x is the number of donated and P(x) is the probability: P(x) = (\frac{0.99 49999}(x-1) + 0.01) \bullet 100% Tabber |2025, 2024, 2022 and 2021 class "article-table"!Buffs (Galentine's Blessing)!Rewards - +50% Capacity +15% Instant Bee Ability conversion +50% Rose Field pollen +50% Blue Flower Field pollen +50% Sunflower Field pollen +5% Ticket Chance +5% Loot Luck +1% Super-Crit Chance, } |2020 class "article-table"!Buffs (Galentine's Blessing)!Rewards - +50% Capacity +20% Instant Bee Ability conversion +10% Instant Bubble Conversion +50% Rose Field pollen +50% Blue Flower Field pollen +50% Sunflower Field pollen +5% Ticket Chance +5% Loot Luck, }

Patch history

The Wind Shrine is based on a percussion instrument, the wind chimes. According to Spirit Bear, the Wind Shrine is one of the oldest standing monuments in the game. She also mentions that it is even older than she is. She also says that the Wind Shrine gives you different responses depending on your favor. Using the Wind Shrine is the only way to obtain a Windy Bee, other than buying it in Shop when it was first released. If the player donates something, but disconnects before the rewards fade out, the next donation will give the rewards of the last donation and set a cooldown of 1 hour. This will not happen if at least one reward is collected from the Wind Shrine. If a player happens to reach the Wind Shrine without having 35 bees and tries to donate an item, a message will come up saying "Error: Player does not have 35 bees. Please show Onett. (Version {Server version})"., Sprinkler Builders, certain Specific Bee Eggs (all except for Honey Bee Egg), Specific Bee Jellies, (if the player has already donated one), Balloons, Planters, Robo Passes, the and are items in the player's inventory that cannot be donated. When donating 0 of something (e.g. 0 tickets), a message will appear saying "Error: Player does not have selected quantity of items. (Version {Server version})", or "Error: Cannot donate 0 items." The chimes on the Wind Shrine are collidable and aren't anchored. This means if you try running into them, they will move. The Galentine Shrine is a possible reference to the Parks & Recreation episode “Galentines Day”.
