Overview[1]
Minimum 1/0.5s; Increases on every defeat and the proximity between the player and the tornado. This page is for the Wild version of Windy Bee. The Wild Windy Bee is a Mini-Boss that spawns in the Dandelion Field, Pineapple Patch, Pumpkin Patch, Mountain Top Field, and Coconut Field. During the Beesmas event, Wild Windy Bee could also spawn in the Clover Field, Spider Field, Bamboo Field and Pepper Patch in addition to the fields that it normally appears in. A Wild Windy Bee may spawn naturally every two in-game Day/Night Cycles or from an offering to the Wind Shrine.

Attack Pattern and Rewarding
Wild Windy Bee uses 2 different attacks. Its first attack is summoning 3 tornadoes that wipes Pollen off the field and deals damage every 0.5 seconds. The damage dealt depends on the proximity between the tornado and the player, plus the number of times Wild Windy Bee is defeated. The duration and speed of the tornadoes also depend on the number of times Wild Windy Bee is defeated. This attack can damage other mobs. The damage will vary from 1-20. This attack will happen first, then cycled after 3 Wind blows. Wild Windy Bee's second attack is forming a gust of wind that blows players away with great force in a rectangular area. It will deal no damage, but the player(s) will be flung away if caught in the rectangular area, unable to deal damage for some time. A red attack indicator is shown for about one second to show where Wild Windy Bee is about to attack. The direction of attack depends on Wild Windy Bee's current position and the position of a randomly targeted player on the field. The size of the attack is based on how far the edge of the field is from where Wild Windy Bee is looking. If Wild Windy Bee cannot detect any players on the field, it will attack in a random direction. This attack is cycled in after Wild Windy Bee finishes the tornado attack. Upon defeat, Wild Windy Bee leaves behind a cloud in the middle of the field that regrows flowers and gives +25% pollen for 10 seconds (+50% pollen if you have a Gifted Windy bee) for 10 seconds if you stand under the cloud(s) and gets refreshed while under the clouds. Its also grants +10% Unique Instant Conversion.
Health per Level
The formula to tell how much health Wild Windy Bee has per level is: (level ^ 2; 250) + 250 Note: This table only goes up to level 25. If you want to go beyond that, use the formula shown above. However, do not add more to this.
Path
After the Wild Windy Bee's health is depleted, it will drop loot and then move to another field. The field the bee moves on next depends on the current field it is standing by. These are all the possible outcomes.
Drops
Every time Wild Windy Bee is defeated, the following rewards may be dropped. Defeating Wild Windy Bee too many times in a day will greatly weaken drops. The value and amount of drops depends on how much damage the player deals to it (For example, If a Wild Windy Bee has 1000 health, two players are fighting it and one deals 200 damage and the other 800, the second player would get better rewards).
Tips
When summoning one, 5 - 10 Field Dice/3-5 Oils/5-10 Glue is the best way if the player wants a cheap but reliable way. Other options include: 1 Star Jelly, 3-5 Glitters. Before summoning one, the player should make sure to defeat any tough mobs and bosses beforehand that would make fighting the windy bee much harder, particularly the Coconut Crab and Mondo Chick. Nectars such as Invigorating Nectar grants x1.01 - x1.10 Bee attack and Motivating for 1% - 5% Bee Ability Rate. Equip accessories that improve bee attack, such as the Fire Mask, Demon Mask, Coconut Clogs or Gummy Boots. You can use Stingers for an extra 1.5x bee attack, though if you don't have a Vicious Bee it is not recommended. Use and/or for 1.2x player and Bee Movespeed and +5% Critical Chance. Use for both improved Movespeed, Bee Movespeed, Critical Chance and Super-Crit Chance. Though it's not recommended due to its expensive crafting recipe and its rarity. Try and build up a stack before starting the battle as critical chance improves the chances of a critical hit, increasing attack damage. Try and build up a precision stack before starting the battle as precision grants Super-Crit chance that are 33% stronger than a critical hit and also reduces the cooldown for your Precise Bees to attack again by 75%. You can also collect to gain 100% critical power for 30 seconds. The player can use the sound effects created by the windy bee to tell what attack it is going to execute next. It will also start using a wind gust attack after summoning three tornadoes.
Strategy
The player can tell if a Wild Windy Bee is in a field when the wind chimes of the Wind Shrine are continuously moving (and if there wasn't a recent donation). If the timer ends before it generates reward tokens, it will leave without making any rewards. However, if it has already started producing them, it will finish spawning them as Windy Bee flees. Like Mythic Meteor Showers and Puffshrooms, the quality of its rewards are affected by the law of diminishing marginal utility. The more times the player receives loot from Wild Windy Bees in one day, the worse the rewards gradually get. Windy Bee and Vicious Bee are the only bosses/mobs that are bees, Vicious Bee's counterpart being Rogue Vicious Bee. Unlike Rogue Vicious Bee, the Wild Windy Bee does not have a gifted variant. Similar to Rogue Vicious Bee's Impale attack, the tornado can deal damage to other mobs. Onett would sometimes spawn Wild Windy Bee in fields, including fields where it wouldn't naturally appear, usually to help grow sprouts that he also spawns. If Onett spawns them in the Stump Field, the Windy Bees freeze in the air upon defeat until the timer is up, as they are not programmed to fly to any other field from Stump Field. At the end of Beesmas 2020, Onett spawned a couple of Wild Windy Bees called "The Windy Gang". The Windy Gang made a return in Beesmas 2021, spawning a Festive Sprout and appearing in the Mountain Top Field. On 2025-06-06, he summoned six level one Wild Windy Bees in Sunflower Field.
