The Sunflower Field is one of the five starting fields that any player can visit upon starting the game. There are no mobs that protect this field. This field can spawn sunflower seed, ticket, red boost, blue boost, oil, and magic bean tokens when gathering pollen. This field grants Satisfying Nectar when a planter is planted here. Bees that like the Sunflower Field are Basic Bee, Baby Bee, Hasty Bee, and Exhausted Bee. The only bee that dislikes the Sunflower Field is Looker Bee. This is a 20×33 field, containing 660 flowers. The flowers are white, red, and blue, in sizes of single and double.

Events
Randomly, the large sunflower behind the Daily Top Honeymakers make have a face and spit sparkles around the field. When starting a Stick Bug Challenge, Stick Bug first spawns in this field and may also jump into this field when defeating him in a round if he is not on this field.
Obtaining Boosts
Using the Field Booster may give a Sunflower Field Boost. When it does, it will give +300% Sunflower Field pollen for 15 minutes. Using glitter will add 100% Sunflower Field pollen onto the current boost for 15 minutes, if the current boost isn't already maxed out. Using field dice, smooth dice, or loaded dice may add +100% Sunflower Field pollen for 15 minutes if the current boost isn't already maxed out. Sunflower Field Winds can be obtained through the Wind Shrine or codes. They have a base of 20% instant Sunflower Field conversion and give +5% instant Sunflower Field conversion and +25% Sunflower Field pollen for each stack. Sunflower Field Winds can stack up to a total of 15 times. It can be boosted by the Shell Amulet. If it has a Sunflower Field Boost, it can boost the field by +1% to +27% depending on the amulet rarity. Giving a Present to Black Bear grants 3x Sunflower Field Boost + other stuff. Having an active Autumn Sunhat Beequip with a Sunflower Field Pollen Hive Bonus (+18% to +24% base, up to +44% with Waxing) Having an active Lei Beequip with a Sunflower Field Pollen Hive Bonus (+3% to +5% base, not guaranteed, up to +25% with Waxing)
Patch history
This is the only field in the game where the player can find sunflower seeds that spawn naturally, without the need of sprouts. This is the first field Black Bear assigns a quest to. The Sunflower badges and the Pumpkin badges are used 3 times for chances in Memory Match, the most for any field badges. This was the second-biggest field in the game, the biggest one being the Clover Field. After the 2018-07-11 update, this isn't the case anymore. Similar to why the Clover Field was shrunk, this field was decreased in size to make room for Mother Bear and the Treat Shop, which can be found at the end of the field. This field along with the Pineapple Patch and the Pumpkin Patch are the only fields where an object may come to life and shoot sparkles. The fence bordering the Sunflower Field and the hives was temporarily removed after Beesmas Winter 2024. It was soon added back in the following update.
