Mother Bear is a quest giver, and one of the eight permanent quest bears that can be accessed, the others being Black Bear, Brown Bear, Panda Bear, Science Bear, Dapper Bear, Polar Bear, and Spirit Bear. Her quests are focused on leveling up the player's bees and feeding them treats. She is located below the red-and-white-striped awning at the far end of the Sunflower Field, next to the Strawberry Field and Mushroom Field. Each time she introduces a new treat to feed to the player's bees, she tells them which bees love the treat. Mother Bear gives a near the end of the questline and an at the end.

Dialogue
Mother Bear gives a lot of information in her quest dialogues. Some of the information she gives is not found anywhere else in-game.
Patch history
She, Brown Bear, and Onett are the only quest givers to give out tickets in all non-event Quests. She is the first female bear added to the game. She and Spirit Bear are the only female bears in the game. She, Panda Bear, Brown Bear, and Onett are the only quest givers to give a star treat. She is the first permanent bear released in an Update, before Spirit Bear. Mother Bear gives 65x Ticket in total. She also gives a total of 19,438,250 honey throughout her quests. Like Dapper Bear, Mother Bear uses the Stylish Animation Pack. Mother Bear, when giving the player the "Search for Sunflower Seeds" quest, tells the player to get 3 bees to level 6 even though the quest requires 6 level 6 bees. Also, when receiving the "Search for Sunflower Seeds" quest, she mentions that the Werewolf is level 6 when it is actually level 7. This is because the werewolf was level 6 when Mother Bear was introduced to the game but was Leveled up to level 7 later on. Both of these have been fixed. Mother Bear mentions in the "Mother Bear's Midterm" quest that the Royal Jelly Dispenser gives one Royal Jelly per gifted bee type when it actually gives one per Gifted Bee in the Player's Hive. This is because it gave one royal jelly per gifted bee type when Mother Bear was added but was changed to one royal jelly per gifted bee later on. She is the first bear to give quests about leveling bees, using royal jelly, and feeding treats to bees.
