When used on a beequip, it will change its stats. If the Beequip has waxes used on it, it will alter the enhancements as well. When a swirled wax is applied to a beequip, a message pops up saying: Sometimes, the stats won't show any changes when you use a swirled wax. Most of the time, the bug can be fixed by rejoining the game.

Patch history
This is the first wax to be added to the game. It was added in Beesmas 2020 while the rest were added in Beesmas 2021. This wax, and are the only waxes guaranteed to change a Beequip's stats. Before the 2021-12-26 update, this item had no favor when donated to the Wind Shrine. Swirled wax used to have a limit of 5, but the limit was removed in the 2021-12-26 update. Before the 2021-12-26 update, swirled wax did not have a wick in its icon design. This is the only wax that was not included in the Waxy Bundle.
