MobsBee Swarm Simulator

Overview[1]

Snowbear is a mini-boss that can be summoned every 1 hour and 30 minutes at the Snowbear Summoner after completing Panda Bear's Beesmas quest. When summoned, it spawns in the Spider Field, and players have 60 seconds (1 minute) to defeat it. If 60 seconds has passed without enough damage done to it, it will despawn (melt). All players' bees can attack another player's Snowbear, but the player that summoned it would receive more rewards.

Attacks

Snowbear has two different attacks: Contact: If a player makes contact with Snowbear, it deals a base damage of 36. Snowbear does not track players; instead it moves randomly through the field hitting players along the way. Snowball Hurl: Snowbear hurls a snowball at a player who is in, or around, the Spider Field. This snowball deals 60 base damage and applies the "Frozen" Debuff to the player who gets hit by the snowball for approximately 2.5 seconds, applying ×0 player movespeed and Jump Power, as well as ×0.2 Bee Movespeed.

Health

From level one to level ten, its health increases non-linearly so that at level 10 the Snowbear has 100,000 health. From level 10, every time the Snowbear levels up it gets +5,000 health.

Drops

Bond (100 –???) (increased by Bond from Battle, and level). (Equal to level). (There are three types of Snowflake drop) Type 1 drop: Damaged Rings: Only exclusive for the player that summoned the snowbear, this is dropped upon damaging the Snowbear by a certain portion of its health, it is initially worth? but the total worth will eventually match the Snowbear's level on higher levels. Damage Rings can be done by up to 4 times to the snowbear before Defeat Ring. Type 2 drop: Defeat Ring: Only exclusive for the player that summoned the snowbear. This is dropped upon the Snowbear's defeat, it is approximately worth 20x the Snowbear's level. Type 3 drop: Scattered Snowflakes: Can be collected for all players, these drop scales with the Snowbear's level. It has the same conditions and damage requirements as the Damage Rings.

Strategies

Every time the player defeats the Snowbear, its health increases (e.g. 20,000 health at level 5), thus making it stronger and harder to defeat in a short amount of time. High-level bees that can do a good amount of damage are recommended. Its reload time for using a snowball is short, so if it catches the player in ice, it may be able to keep them frozen by using the snowball attack on them repeatedly. The snowball will still do damage while the player is frozen, and the player will die if they get hit multiple times. If they have a glider or parachute, they can use it to dodge the snowballs. If they get frozen, immediately after thawing, they can jump away and use the glider to prevent being frozen a second time. It is also a good idea to try and stay behind the Snowbear, as it takes time for it to turn around. It is also recommended to have another player have their bees attack a high-leveled Snowbear.

Tips

Use to increase the Bee Movespeed, and to increase Critical Chance. are also an option, as they increase both stats. However, they are expensive, so it is not recommended to use them unless you are far into the game and/or the Snowbear is very high-level. Certain items like Demon Mask and Fire Mask's passive abilities, Windy Bee's tornado ability, frogs and Spicy Bee's Inferno ability ignore enemy levels meaning they will always deal damage regardless of the Snowbear's level. Have multiple bees with high attack such as Lion Bee or Vicious Bee. Use to multiply the bee's attack by ×1.5 for 30 seconds. If you have the Star Saw passive, you can use it to deal more damage. Certain bees that generate battle tokens may be a necessity. It is recommended to have multiple Rage Bees or Spicy Bees, in order to get more Rage Tokens. Vicious Bee is important, as it can deal massive damage with Impale. Digital Bee is useful, as it can stun and make it take more damage with its Mind Hack ability. Bees that can generate Focus tokens, such as Looker Bees, Commander Bees, Music Bees, and Puppy Bee (with Reindeer Antlers) can help greatly. Music Bee can generate Melody, which increases critical power. Melody can also be generated by bees that have the or the equipped. Precise Bees generate Target Practice tokens, which grants Precision, increasing Super-Crit Chance. High-leveled bees are useful for landing hits on high-leveled Snowbears. Precise Bees can be very useful against high-leveled Snowbears, as their attacks never miss if the Snowbear is one level higher (two if Gifted).

Patch history

Snowbear uses the Cartoony Animation Pack. The icon for the Frozen debuff is the asset for Ice Cube from the animated show Battle for Dream Island. Snowbear and Stick Bug are the only hostile mobs that can be directly summoned by players. They are also the only mobs whose cooldowns are not affected by Gifted Vicious Bee's Gifted Hive Bonus. Snowbear is the fourth mob to be removed from the game, after the Chick, Spotted Chick, and Hostage Chick. It's also the only mob to return after being removed. Snowbear's leveling up mechanic work similarly to Stick Bug and Wild Windy Bee. It's also the only mob that has a changing size, which also increases by leveling. This can make it the largest mob in the game. Snowbear is the first and only mob able to freeze a player. Snowbear and Tunnel Bear are the only hostile mobs that are bears. Similar to Tunnel Bear and Shadow Bear, Snowbear has no face and uses one texture. This is the fourth mob to not drop Honey Tokens, with the first three being the Coconut Crab, ants and the cave monsters. This, the Naughty List (plus the quest related with it), Festive Nymphs, and were the only Beesmas 2020 content that was extended. Although a majority of the game refers to this mob as Snowbear, the message the player gets when they fail to defeat Snowbear says "Snow Bear". This, Tunnel Bear and Shadow Bear are the only faceless bears. There was a glitch which causes the Snowbear to go idle, and it does not move around or attack the player. The cause of this glitch is unknown.
