Notes

It is important to note that trolls and exploiters (cheaters) may often summon the Cake Prince instead by teleporting to drip_mama and summoning as soon as the enemy requirement has been met ("auto Cake Prince" script). The player with the Sweet Chalice must be the one to interact with the NPC, or the Dough King will not be spawned. For this reason, it is recommended to summon the Dough King in a private server with trustable players. The Dough King has a disproportionate amount of HP compared to other Raid Bosses. (HP only comparable to the Leviathan and the Tyrant of the Skies, as most other Raid Bosses have a lower amount of HP.) It is recommended to farm with other players on the server, as taking on 500 enemies can take a long time. When fighting the Dough King, the player needs to deal at least 111,150 (or 10%) damage to get credit (and to get the drops). The player can come back through the portal even if they have died previously until the Dough King is defeated or he despawns. It is recommended that the player has at least two or more Awakened Buddha users, not only to deal damage but also to control the Dough King's movements. The Race Awakening is highly recommended here due to the increased damage, defense, speed, stun, etc. Take note that the player needs to have defeated Dough King at least once to obtain Race Awakening.

Tips & Tricks

It is recommended to be in a safe zone with the Sweet Chalice, since there is a high chance that the player will get killed by a bounty hunter upon acquiring one. Buddha is recommended since it has a very large hitbox when awakened which will be helpful when fighting the Dough King. It is highly recommended to use Buddha's unawakened form when using Sanguine Art, as the skill can heal 20% of the user's health. The player should make sure that they are allied with everyone or everyone is a Marine since other people can kill them when meaning to do damage to the Dough King. The player should not switch to the Marines team if they are already a Pirate and have the Sweet Chalice, as this will count as dying and they will lose the chalice. It is highly recommended to do this in a private server as script users or trolls can summon the Cake Prince instead of the Dough King. The Skull Guitar can be useful due to stun and cancel all the attacks of the boss. A strategy is to kill the Dough King with two or more players with Awakened Buddha and go to the opposite sides of the arena to bait his attacks, such as Dough Fist Fusillade and Pastry River.

Patch history

The Dough King gives the combined most levels and second most Fragments Fragment in the game. The first in terms of most fragments is Tyrant of the Skies. After killing the Dough King and unlocking the red door, the player can purchase as many Dough raid chips as they need (1,000 Fragment every 2 hours, or a Fruit worth over 1,000,000). Due to the nature of his abilities, the Dough King is one of the enemies to be able to "combo" players in certain circumstances. Unlike the Cake Prince, the Dough King does not use the abilities of the Spikey Trident. The Dough King has the most drops out of any Raid Boss. The Dough King is sometimes abbreviated as "DK". During Update 30, both the Cake Prince and Dough King were temporarily unable to be summoned in the game due to the fact that the Drip mama NPC was bugged and failed to load into the game.
