Location

The Training Dummy is located behind the Arena Trainer.

Quest

This quest is only available once per hour.

Behavior

The Training Dummy uses Dark Blade as its weapon, but does not use its skills. However, it can swing just as fast as a normal Dark Blade, and does the same amount of, if not more, damage. It also takes significantly less damage from standard M1 attacks compared to other enemies, particularly those from fighting styles or swords.

Notes

The Training Dummy does not drop anything besides the completion of the quest. The only exception is Tiger (both versions), Mammoth (transformed) and Kitsune (both versions). The Training Dummy regenerates all of its health in two seconds if no damage is done within that time period. To kill the Training Dummy easily, players can spam click attack with Instinct active, perform a one-shot combo to defeat it or use T-Rex’s Transformed M1’s Prey Mark. The Training Dummy's Location will not let the player land some ranged moves such as Kabucha's move, Skull Guitar's [M1] attack or Spikey Trident's move due to an "invisible barrier".

Strategy

The Training Dummy has the fastest regenerations in the game. The [X] Flying Trident Pull from Spikey Trident cannot hit the Training Dummy due to hitbox changes in the dummy area. The Training Dummy has the shortest aggression range. The Training Dummy does not attack players unless damaged, or a player is at its sword's reach (After the player hits it). The Training Dummy is used often to test combos, as it can respawn quick for an enemy of its durability and it doesn't use any moves besides M1s. Due to enemies' zero delay between attacks and knockbacks (which also affect the Training Dummy), combos like "Godhuman [C] into Kitsune [F] or Gas [Z]" won't work as the Training Dummy will instantly get knocked back very far after Godhuman [C], rendering the combo null. This is also the case with "Phoenix C into Phoenix M1", "Godhuman [C] into Quake [Z]" etc. This happens because of enemies being directly connected to the server, making them have "0 ping". The rip_indra boss in the Second Sea that is needed to get to Third Sea is actually just reskin of the Training Dummy, but having more time before regenerating his health.
