ERADICATOR II

Melee WeaponsCriminality

Overview[1]

The ERADICATOR II is a dangerously devastating blade added in the V2.2.4 April Fool's 2024 update. It is the successor to the original ERADICATOR. It can only be obtained by either completing the Cope Trials or using the Cope Altar via Private Servers+. It can also be spawned using private server commands or found in dealers with the Event Items gamerule in Private Servers+. The ERADICATOR II takes the appearance of a massive red blade with multiple rows of unknown scripture running down the center of the blade. It is attached to a metal hilt, with the center baring a glowing red letter "C." Upon equipping the ERADICATOR II, a loud activation sound is played, along with the blade appearing out of the hilt. The blade emits an audible idle sound and a bright red glow while activated.

Blocking

The ERADICATOR II can block: Every melee weapon. The ERADICATOR II can be blocked by: ERADICATOR II

Pros & Cons

Movement speed buff when equipped. Long hitbox time. Instant kill potential. Ignores armor resistances. Normal walkspeed while blocking. Blocks all existing melees in-game. Can only be blocked by another ERADICATOR II. Finishing takes 0 stamina. Blocks bullets. Finishing replenishes more HP than normal melees. Instantly breaks down all doors. Uses only 5% stamina per swing. Challenging to obtain. Extremely loud activation noise, idle humming sound and bright red glow around you. Makes you an immediate target for the server. After obtaining the ERADICATOR II from the Cope Trials, you will have a 15-minute timer before death, and the server will notify everyone that you have the ERADICATOR II.

Trivia

The ERADICATOR II bares a much more striking resemblance to the Crucible from DOOM Eternal in terms of visual effects. The ERADICATOR II "replaced" the original ERADICATOR upon its addition, much like the Slayer Sword II did. During inspect, very faint yelling/crying noises can be heard, presumably from "dead souls". The center of the hilt appears to be the cope coin. When you use Rage Dose with ERADICATOR II, you go insanely fast. The ERADICATOR II works like the Chainsaw, being able to deal multiple ticks of damage during its swing, dealing 44 damage per tick. This is similar to the original ERADICATOR. A player can technically survive a swing if only one tick of damage is hit on the torso, or if wearing The Slayer and hit in the leg or arm. It is quite random, but due to the damage per tick system the ERADICATOR ll has, it is possible to survive a "soft hit", or only one tick of damage. The only thing able to survive a full swing (all ticks of damage hit) is a person who drank Monster Mash, due to the 600 HP gained.
