Summary

The Slayer's Sword was an item removed in the v1.2 update and completely deleted in the v1.4 update. It was able to instantly kill unarmored players with a slice to the head, and was capable of hitting multiple at a time. The Sword was able to cut off any limb in one swing and was one of three melees that is able to block every other melee weapon and bullets. These traits are shared with the Eradicator and Slayer's Sword II This weapon was able to be countered by any gun in the hands of a skilled user. However, due to the ability to block bullets, this wasn't always a surefire strategy.

Had very high damage. Took 0 slots. Bypassed helmets. Could hit 3+ people with 1 swing. Dismembered and decapitated with 1 hit. Had long range. Had high mobility. Could block bullets. Could block every public weapon in the game. Expensive during v1.1 Had a loud equip sound. Had high stamina usage.

Patch history

Since the v1.2.0 update, the Slayers Sword exists but cannot be bought along with a buff to the weapon to those who have it When V1.2.0 update was launched, it was a rare sight to see someone with this. After V1.3.0, it was much, much more rare to see someone carrying this. Since V1.4.0, the Slayer's Sword does no longer exist, being replaced by Slayer's Sword II. When finishing someone, guts' theme would play, it was music from the Berserk 1997 anime ost, however only a part of it would play, likely to avoid copyright. After March 22nd, the music does not play as it is not uploaded by RVVZ and not shorter than 6 seconds. Blocking with this weapon could counter any weapon at the time except the Coal melee, found in presents during the Christmas Update. Before the V1.2.0 Update, it would emit white particles when blocking another melee. After V1.2.0 was released, It would emit red particles when blocked with a lower pitched blocking sound. The slayer's sword is one of the only three melees that can block bullets. Before the V1.2.0 update the slayers sword would only deal 70% damage. The slayers sword accompanies the same animations as the ERADICATOR The slayers sword is based on the Dragon Slayer from the Berserk manga. Since V1.3.0 the Slayer's sword is the only melee weapon to decapitate limbs apart from the ERADICATOR. After a shadow update in V1.3's lifespan the Slayer's sword cannot decapitate limbs, only breaking them. The slayers sword was completely deleted in V1.4.0 despite still working fine in V1.3.5
