Personality

Qwelver has described her as a "girlboss", according to her design. Other than that, Ribecca is an artist and a costume designer, as seen in a dialogue with and her Introduction Card. Ribecca loves fashion and is a kind Toon, though she also seems to be chill and laid-back according to her dialogues.

Strategies

Ribecca is a great All-Rounder Toon for runs, as her Passive Ability, The Undead, bypasses all applied Debuffs, such as 's Debuff applied on a chase, 's Debuff, and Ichor Stains from Ichor Leak Puddles being a few examples. This makes the above Twisteds along with any other Debuff sources (almost) non-threats. Being easily accessible during the Halloween Event, Ribecca is a great option for starters who struggle with Debuffs. Note while her Passive is an amazing Debuff counter, it has a small con being that you can't immediately notice when she spawns without sound cues. She is usually self-evident with her Debuff, but since Ribecca's Passive gives her debuff immunity, it won't appear over your head. This really isn't an issue though, as you can just turn up your volume to hear Shelly's footsteps, or have a teammate who can highlight Twisteds. While Ribecca is intended to be a starter Toon and has a really good Passive, you may want to get used to dealing with Debuffs early on as a different Toon. This is because if a starter uses Ribecca for the most part, they may struggle a bit more with Debuffs due to not being used to them when they transition to a different Toon. However, this mostly depends on how you want to progress in the game, so you are still free to play whatever Toon and playstyle you wish. Just remember that it's a good idea to learn how to counter Debuffs by base, especially if you plan to distract at some point as you progress and get more Toons.

Trivia

Ribecca, and all share the same Stats. Ribecca's name is a portmanteau of the word "rib" and the feminine name Rebecca, as she is a skeleton. Ribecca's Skin is a reference to the popular clothing store brand, which was notorious for its 'Emo' attire in the 2000's. According to one of her descending Floor dialogues, Ribecca is frequently cold, which is likely because she is a skeleton and may not be able to produce body heat. This is likely is also the reason she wears a sweater. According to one of her dialogues with, it's hinted that Ribecca's limbs are detachable. Ribecca was the first teased Halloween Toon, following a pattern where rarity Event Toons are the first to be shown. Ribecca was the only Event Toon to not get an idle animation teaser of their lower body. Ribecca's interaction with is based on the fact she is a skeleton, and that dogs like to chew bones. Ribecca's name is spelled wrong on her Information Card, being spelled as “Ribbeca the Skeleton” instead of Ribecca. Despite the icon for Ichor Leak immunity not showing for her on the Toon selection page, Ribecca is still immune to Ichor Leaks, since her Passive Ability already prevents her from getting both the Illness and Slow Debuff.
