Appearance

Bassie is a light brown-ish wicker basket with two darker brown handles on each side, along with two eyelashes underneath her eyes as her mouth is formed into a small, cat-like smile. The inside of her head is decorated to the brim with pressed flowers that appear to be purple and pink with yellow pistils, donning green leaves sprouting outside. She wears a purple tank-top with a bell-shaped skirt that appears to be made out of 4 pink flower petals. Finally, she wears green and light green striped stirrup socks.

Personality

Bassie is a shy and timid Toon, being apparent at first glance due to the fact she fidgets during her idle animation. She also feels envy towards, who is the fan favorite and who is the better picking for the Easter class, as said by in a note to. However, she does not hate Cocoa, as shown in "Wilting," where she is seen hugging her and possibly creating a gift for her. In Bassie's interactions with Cocoa, as well as the Gossip about her, she instead acts anxious and envious, with no real apparent hatred. In her Gossip about, she expresses care and protectiveness over all of the other Easter Toons, referring to them as "friends." There does come a breaking point however, when she discovers the sheer amount of Cocoa plushies that were created, which are usually reserved for Main Characters. This combines with her already negative mindset, leading to a peak of rage mixed with sadness, eventually becoming Twisted. In her dialogues, she is seen laughing uncontrollably whenever she feels like she is not keeping up with others' expectations of her, which often makes other Toons feel uncomfortable or weirded out. As also seen in her dialogues, Bassie constantly compares herself to the other "Main" friends, saying how she hopes to be kind as and intelligent as, as she possibly has a fear of being replaced. This is because she knows that if anyone were to replace her, it'd be Cocoa, further hinted at in Bassie's interaction with. Bassie is also known to be quite animated and defensive when confronted with certain matters, such as in her dialogue with.

Requirement Strategies

For the first and second requirements, focus on picking up Research Capsule/Basket and extracting Machine. The Machine, Capsule and Basket count increases the further you descend, so you can earn more Ichor and Baskets. For the third requirement, ask a Distractor Toon to bring to you, so you can get her to aggro on you. Playing as also helps getting Research faster because of his Passive Ability. This will be easier if Twisted Bassie is on the Daily Twisted Board.

Golden Skin Quest

Reward: Skin For the first quest, try going towards Floor 20+, since Twisted Bassie is guaranteed to spawn every Floor that is a multiple of 20, not to mention Twisted Bassie being able to spawn before Floor 20 too. You can play with a distractor such as or to make the progression easier and to let them bring Twisted Bassie to the elevator for the encounter, though despite the difficulty you can still do this solo. For the second quest, you should find a team with good players and play, or you can have a few friends carry you. If you plan on helping with extracting, or if you plan on going solo, equip Trinkets like to minimize the risk of any loose Twisteds coming after you. For the third quest, you can just join a run, but refrain from voting the Card, instead go for and the Cards, as they would heighten the chance for Spring Fever Floors.

Strategies

At first glance, Bassie seems to fit into the role of a distractor, having identical Movement Speed and Stamina to that of. However, because of her unique Abilities and 4 Stealth, she is best played as a survivalist/support Toon rather than a pure distractor. With that said, she may fit into the role of a backup distractor depending on your team's average Stealth and how experienced they are. She makes an extremely good survivalist due to her superior mobility stats, Stealth, and additional Item slot. Due to Bassie's abysmal Extraction Speed and Skill Check stats, it is recommended to mostly avoid Machines and instead use her excellent survivability for your team's benefit. However, if there are any Treadmill Machines, Bassie is one of the best extractors for them, due to her extremely potent mobility Stats. She can also help with Duo Machines, though preferably only if you are good at hitting her tiny Skill Checks, as her below average Extraction Speed would be combined with another Toon's Extraction Speed, together totaling to a great minimum about the equivalent of 5 Stars or more. Because of her Abilities that grant four inventory slots and enable her to drop Items without penalty, Bassie is an amazing team supporter and offers new ways for Toons to approach Floors. This is primarily done by storing Items for future Floors, or helping out fellow Toons by gifting them important Items such as, s, or s. It's beneficial to give Toons Items that aid with their weaknesses, such as giving a, or collecting 'worthless' Items for a / to get more.

Patch history

Bassie is the third to have the requirement of reaching Floor 20 for her Mastery, the previous two being and. Upon release, Bassie's Active Ability was labeled as a Passive Ability. This was later changed because a Main Character Toon should only have one Passive Ability. This made Bassie the first Main Character (and Toon in general) to have 2 Passive Abilities. Bassie is the only Event Toon who never had 5 in more than one Stat upon being added in game. has permanent 5 Stars in two Stats and Bobette formerly had 5 Stars in two Stats before having 1 Star from her Skill Check moved to Movement Speed. Bassie's name could possibly be a portmanteau of the word "Basket" and the name "Cassie". According to her dialogue with, Bassie's favorite flowers are tulips, hyacinths, and lily flowers. Coincidentally, they are all toxic to bunnies, which could reflect Bassie's negative relationship with, though this may be unintentional. Additionally, yellow hyacinths are known to represent jealousy, envy, and contempt, which is tied back to 's plan to replace Bassie with Cocoa as the new Easter Main Character as she believed she wasn't fit to be one. Her friends appear to be, and possibly Glisten, based on her interactions or Gossips. Her relationship with Cocoa is one-sided, Bassie herself has a very conflicted perspective, seemingly not viewing her as a friend and instead a rival. Additionally, there is a common misconception that Bassie "hates" Cocoa, this concept being false.
