Personality

Boxten is an uncertain and somewhat shy Toon that is easily frightened, seen in his dialogue with and 's gossip. He shows pessimism toward himself and his capabilities when finishing Machines, but is encouraging towards others, although he lacks assertiveness and backs down easily. When he speaks, he often has a stutter and is written using a lot of ellipses. To add onto this anxious nature, his sleep is troubled due to frequent nightmares, and he suspects may be the one to blame for them. Aside from this, Boxten is a big fan of because of her gameshow, as he loves trivia. He is close to, as well as, who is teaching him how to bake. Requirement Strategies

For the first and only requirement, since Boxten is one of the starter toons, you can just select him for free on the Start Toon Selection screen. Strategies

Boxten's strength lies in Extraction. His Extraction Speed ranges from 1.06 to 1.594; this makes it above average at its lowest and 0.094 more than 5 Extraction Speed at its highest, unless you are using or. This makes him a good choice to earn through Machines when starting out. However, since he is heavily dependent on teammates for maximum Extraction Speed, if you prefer playing with a small team (1-4 players), other Toons such as, or will be better suited in this occasion. His Ability, Wind-Up, allows access to over 5 Star Extraction Speed, but since these Stats are obtainable without using the Ability slot (which is a source of bonus Ichor), it's similar to playing without any Ability at all. Worse than that is the fact that his Ability relies on factors out of your control, which makes Boxten outclassed by a lot of Toons. Assuming you're in a team with enough players (around 5-8), you can be a very efficient stealthy extractor, especially if there's a distractor with 2 or 3 Star Stealth. Using furthers this by allowing you to extract near 3 Star Stealth teammates with little to no risk involving Twisteds. This all could make him more viable than low Stealth, high Extraction Speed Toons such as Glisten, and Yatta, due to the ability to extract quickly near a variety of distractors. Generally, it's recommended to use Boxten in games with a lot of Toons to get the most value out of his Ability. Though, he is quite iffy for solo runs, due to his Ability relying solely on other teammates, wasting it.
