Star Points are special collectables in Dead Rails.
Star Points, sometimes referred to by players as Levels or just Stars, are awarded to players for completing Challenges, which can be viewed on the Challenge Board in the Lobby. Each player starts with. The total increases based on how many Challenges a player has completed. In general, the harder the challenge is, the more Star Points it awards. Star Points serve no practical gameplay purpose and are primarily for bragging rights. However, they offer a fun and useful way to track progression and Challenge completion. Additionally, at least 10 Star Points are required to access the Pro server through the Lobby. Star Points also help players find decent teammates, since players with a higher amount are expected to perform better in games and generally have more experience.

Completing every Milestone Challenge gives the player. Without the limited challenges, the max is, which leaves from the Eggstravaganza event and April Fools gamemodes.
