Overview
The Treasure Whale's main purpose is to serve as a way for users to travel to Treasure Island, that was added in the 1.32 update. It spawns when rainy weather starts (not by chance, it is most likely guaranteed) and stays at the southern part of Isle of New Beginnings at about for 8 minutes before leaving for Treasure Island, where the journey takes 5 minutes.
Whale Interior
During the 13-minute wait, the user can fish in the Whale Interior, which has a bestiary on its own and the Whale Merchant, which periodically sells the Merchant Rod, Whale Bait and Golden Shrimp Bait.
Patch history
The Treasure Whale is most-likely inspired by Monstro from Pinocchio. The Treasure Whale has a full fish model, but is not catch-able currently, The Treasure Whale's model resembles a Moby and Blue Whale The Treasure Whale used to only be summoned from the Tornado Weather, this was changed to Rain.
