Colossal Ethereal Dragon

FishFisch

Overview[1]

Colossal Ethereal Dragon is a Secret fish found in the Luminescent Cavern and Crimson Cavern.

The Colossal Ethereal Dragon is a fish obtainable in a abundance located to the left of the Crimson Cavern or Luminescent Cavern, during a Colossal Ethereal Dragon hunt. Due to it's rarity, it makes for a difficult catch, moving erratically across the bar. When reeling it in, -90% Progress Speed is inflicted. When hooked, a will pop above the player's head, and a shimmering sound is played - as with all fish.

How to get it

Appearance

A large, multicolored-colored salamander-like fish with huge fins that spread out far and wide, like moving mirrors of crystals. It has eyes that look like antennas, that gleam under sudden light. It looks nearly identical to it's regular cousin, the Colossal Blue Dragon.

Ability

30% chance every frame to emit a "deadly pulse", with the chance decreasing by 3% every attack until it reaches 15%. Increases reeling progress by 25% over 0.8 seconds, but sets the size to the current reeling progress. Progress cannot be gained. 1.2 seconds after the increase completes, it decreases reeling progress by 35% over 1.2 seconds, and sets the size to the current reeling progress. Progress cannot be gained. The bar will not revert to its original size unless the rod's passive changes it. This ability has a cooldown of 5.5 seconds.
