The Humpback Whale is an fish that can be caught in The Ocean during a Humpback Whale Migration. Due to it's high rarity, it makes for a challenging catch, moving erratically across the fishing bar. When reeling it in, -88% progress speed is applied. When hooked, a will pop above the player's head, and a shimmering sound is played - as with all fish.

Obtainment
A Humpback Whale Migration is similiar to Orca and Blue Whale migrations except it does not have a set path. A single Humpback Whale spawns in each migration (multiple can be hooked at once) and the migration will end when the whale finishes its path or when one is caught. The migration has a 20% to spawn every time Clear weather begins and lasts 15 minutes. The Humpback Whale Migration starts at these locations: Near Ancient Isle, Near Lost Jungle, Near Moosewood, The Humpback Whale's chances are increased by TBA% when breaching.

The Humpback Whale is a real-life whale that lives in the Antarctic and Antarctica regions. Previously, there was a bug where the player would sometimes fall under the boat or fly high into the sky when catching a Humpback Whale, but the developers quickly fixed this bug.
