The Profane Leviathan is a Secret fish obtainable at the Cultist Lair. Due to its high rarity, it is a challenging catch, moving erratically across the fishing bar and inflicting a locked -96% progress speed. When hooked, a will appear above the user’s head, and a shimmering sound is played - like all fish.

Similarly to its normal counterpart, the Profane Leviathan has an ability (named “Whip”), where when progress is above 50%, there is a 20% chance every 4 seconds to reduce the bar of the rod by 70% for 5 seconds, and take away 35% of the current progress This can be done a maximum of 4 times. The Profane Leviathan is 5% more likely to activate its ability than its normal counterpart, while shrinking the bar by 10% more, and the effect lasts 2 extra seconds.

The Profane Leviathan and the Leviathan is the 2nd fish that has an ability. The first being the Scylla When a Profane Leviathan uses its ability, you can use Fabulous Rod passive to get most of your control back. The Profane Leviathan has a 10% chance to replace a normal Leviathan hunt.
