Witherbloom is a Secret catch in Fisch, found around Toxic Grove — sells for about 1 C$ per kg. In-game bestiary: “A withered secret variant of Rotbloom, infused with ancient blight curses. Too eerie to release.”

The is a fish that can be caught at Toxic Grove’s hunt pool only during a Witherbloom hunt. Due to its high rarity, it makes for a extremely challenging catch, moving erratically across the fishing bar. When reeling it in, a -95% Locked Progress Speed is applied. When hooked, a will pop above the player's head, with a shimmering sound played - as with all fishes.

Notes

The Witherbloom Hunt can only be spawned by using a Blight Idol during a Rotbloom hunt Similar to the Rotbloom hunt, there will be a toxic surface going up and down through the hunt pool during the Witherbloom hunt, touching the toxic surface will fill up the player’s toxic bar rapidly. Witherbloom can only be caught when they are visible in the pool, which can be done by interacting with Toxic Shrooms during the hunt when the fish is not visible. The Witherbloom Hunt will automatically end after 20 seconds if no one is near the pool. The Witherbloom Hunt is needed to spawn the Toxic Guardian.
